SeaWiFS: Southeast U.S.

Saturday's clear skies over the southeastern United States allowed SeaWiFS to collect this view around noon. Smoke from fires in the Appalachians is no longer readily discernible at one-kilometer resolution. (Reports indicate that recent rains have helped contain the fires.)
