Western Canada and Southeast Alaska

Southeastern Alaska and western Canada are visible in this true-color MODIS image acquired March 18, 2002. Also visible are the Gulf of Alaska and the Alexander Archipelago (part of Alaska). The western portions of Canada's Yukon Territory, Northwestern Territory, and British Columbia are shown, and the northern portions of the Rocky Mountains can be seen running south (the right-hand side of the image).
