Dust over the Arabian Sea

Dust fills this scene over the Gulf of Oman on February 18, 2003, captured by the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) on the Terra satellite. At top left is Iran, then Pakistan, then India at bottom right. At bottom left is Oman. A few fires were detected by MODIS and are marked in red.
