This true-color image of Saharan Desert dust blowing northeastward from Libya and Egypt across the Mediterranean Sea was acquired on February 5, 2003, by the Sea-viewing Wide Field-of-view Sensor (SeaWiFS) aboard the OrbView-2 satellite.
