The phytoplankton bloom (or perhaps sediment resuspension) continues at the southern end of the Grand Banks of Newfoundland. The clouds parted to allow SeaWiFS to capture this view earlier today. The snow and cloud covered Avalon Peninsula is visible in the upper left corner.
