Northernmost Canada and Baffin Bay

This MODIS true-color image of northernmost Canada shows the ice beginning to break up in Baffin Bay, to the right. The clear water makes almost a reverse L shape, and the clear water along the bottom part of the L is part of the Parry Channel, which connects Baffin Bay on the East and the Beaufort Sea on the West.
