These true-color images from NASA’s Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) show a portion of the eastern hemisphere Antarctic coastline. The image from October 18, 2001, shows the sculpted Sabrina (left) and Banzare (right) Coasts. The image from October 21, 2001, shows a slightly broader view, and shows the coastline farther east: (left to right) Knox, Budd, Sabrina, and Banzare Coasts. This portion of Antarctica is due south of Western Australia.
