In early November 2001, the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) on NASA’s Terra satellite captured this series of images of the West Antarctica coastline. The images span roughly between 150 degrees west (at image left) to 105 degrees west (right), covering Saunders, Rupert, Hobbs, Bakutis, and Walgreen Coasts and fronting to the Amundsen Sea.
