Sea ice continues to break away from the coastline in Antarctica, as springtime pushes on in the southern hemisphere. This true-color MODIS image, captured on November 23, 2001, shows the Princess Astrid, Princess Ragnhild, and Prince Harald Coasts from left to right respectively. Also visible, as brown specks peeking out from the whitened surroundings are the Wohlthat Mountains (lower-left).
