China and Korea

Dust storms that plagued eastern China in March seem to be granting a reprieve, and the skies over China (left and top) and North and South Korea (right) appear quite clear in this MODIS image from May 1, 2002. The land west of Bo Hai Bay (center) appears to be experiencing a spring bloom.
