Dozens of large fires (red dots) were burning in Saskatchewan, Canada, on June 26, 2002. These true and false color images of the smoky scene were captured by the Moderate resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer.In the false-color image, vegetation is green, burned areas are reddish brown, and clouds and smoke are light blue.
