Remnants of Tropical Storm Bertha dumped heavy rains across parts of Louisiana and Mississippi on August 5, 2002. By the time this image was acquired on August 6, 2002, by the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) on the Terra satellite, the storm had moved little, and was still lingering over Louisiana (center) and Mississippi (to the east).
