Yangtze River, China

These true-and false-color images from the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) show the Yangtze River (running through the bottom third of the image) in Central China emptying out into the Yellow Sea. In the false-color image, vegetation is bright green, and water is dark blue or black. At the top of the image, a portion of the Yellow River is visible.
