These true-color Terra MODIS images feature the southeastern portion of Australia, from the eastern edge of the Great Victoria Desert in the west to the Tasman Sea in the east, from the Sturt Stony Desert in the north to the Southern Ocean in the south. Taken in Australia’s summer season, these images present a range of rich colors and contrasts.
