Off the coast of Namibia in southwest Africa, a phytoplankton bloom was coloring the waters of the Atlantic Ocean light blue and green on April 30 and May 20, 2003. These images are from the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) on the Aqua satellite.
