In April 1976 Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak form Apple Computer Company in
Cupertino, California. In this Landsat 2 image, vegetation appears green and the road
network of the South Bay region (today known world-over as Silicon Valley) appears a
pinkish-red. The southernmost portion of the San Francisco Bay is visible at the top of
the image.
