Reggae legend Bob Marley performed at the One Love Peace Concert at the National
Hero’s Stadium in Kingston, Jamaica on April 22, 1978. Marley famously joined the
hands of two political rivals during his performance of “Jammin.” 32,000 concert
goers witnessed this peaceful gesture. In this Landsat 3 image, the city of Kingston
appears purple, vegetation green, water black, and clouds white.
