Dust Storm Rolls Across the Arabian Peninsula

The Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometers (MODIS) on NASA’s Terra and Aqua satellites captured a view of a massive wall of dust pushing southeast across the Arabian Peninsula on April 2, 2015. Terra acquired the upper image at 7:10 Universal Time (10:10 a.m. local time). Aqua captured the lower image about three hours later. Turn on the comparison tool to slide between the two images.
