Desert dust continued blowing out from mainland China on March 22, 2002, across the Korean peninsula and Japan before heading out over the open Pacific Ocean. This true-color Sea-viewing Wide Field-of-view Sensor (SeaWiFS) image shows the region affected. The dust appears to be flying lower than the clouds in this scene.
