Dust Storm in Burkina Faso

A large cloud of Saharan Desert dust blew southward across Burkina Faso on April 10, 2002. This true-color image was acquired by the Moderate-resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS), flying aboard NASA’s Terra satellite.
