This SeaWiFS image looks southeastward across the Kara Sea. Sediment-laden waters flow from the Ob and Yenisey Rivers. Sea ice is visible on the left. The glacier-covered island at the bottom of the image is Novaya Zemlya and the Barents Sea is in the right foreground.
