SeaWiFS: Rio de la Plata

SeaWiFS recently captured this view of the area around the Rio de la Plata in Argentina. Buenos Aires is plainly visible on the southwestern shore of the bay. Offshore, the spring blooms are beginning to highlight the convergence zone.
