SeaWiFS: Po River Plume

Last week, northern Italy and Switzerland experienced catastrophic flooding. Yesterday, SeaWiFS captured this view of the Adriatic Sea showing a largish plume of sediment-laden water flowing from the mouth of the Po River at the sea's northern end.
