Middle fire in New Mexico

In this true-color MODIS image acquired April 4, 2002, a large fire is burning in the Mongollon Mountains of New Mexico. The fire, named Middle, is depicted as red dots on the image. A large plume of smoke is easily visible from the lowest resolution.
