Saharan dust over Canary Islands

This series of images from the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) on the Terra satellite shows a a dust storm from Africa’s Sahara Desert blowing out over the Canary Islands in the Atlantic Ocean.
