Fires in Mexico

In the Sierra Madre Mountains of western and southern Mexico, scores of wildfires have continued to burnover the last month. These images from the >aHREF="http://modis.gsfc.nasa.gov" target="outlink">ModerateResolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) on NASA’sTerrasatellite were acquired on May 17 and May 22, 2002.
