Fires in Angola and Botswana

This true-color imagefrom the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer(MODIS) on NASA’s Terra satellite shows a portion of the EastAntarctic coastline between roughly 20 degrees (left) and 45degrees (right) East. In total, this part of the coast is calledQueen Maud Land, and the individual coasts are (left to right) Princess Ragnhil, Prince Harald, and Prince Olav Coasts. Thisimage was acquired on October 21, 2001.
