The Evolution of Hurricane Hermine

After hitting Florida as a tropical cyclone, Hermine transitioned into a very different type of storm.


NASA Earth Observatory images by Joshua Stevens and Jeff Schmaltz, using MODIS data from LANCE/EOSDIS Rapid Response and VIIRS data from the Suomi National Polar-orbiting Partnership.
